We treat your data the same way we treat our guests at the launch field, with care, with respect, and with no shortcuts. Below is exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

Who we are

Hot Air Cappadocia Balloon (HACB) is operated by Tayf Tours DMC, the trade name of Nokta Turizm Seyahat İth İhr Ltd Şti.

We have held TURSAB Licence 2290 since 1999 and arrange certified balloon experiences across Cappadocia, Türkiye.

What we collect

Only what we need to fly you safely and confirm your booking.

  • ·Booking information: name, email, phone, passport number, travel date, hotel.
  • ·Payment information: processed by Garanti BBVA Virtual POS. Card numbers never touch our servers.
  • ·Communication records: WhatsApp threads, emails, and any notes you share with our concierge.
  • ·Website analytics: anonymized Google Analytics data, only if you opt in via our cookie banner.

How we use your information

Each piece of data has a single purpose, and we do not stretch it beyond that.

  • ·To process and confirm your reservation.
  • ·To communicate flight status, weather updates, and operational changes.
  • ·To meet Turkish Civil Aviation Authority manifest requirements.
  • ·To improve our services through aggregated, anonymized analysis.

How we share your information

We share strictly what is necessary, with parties bound by the same standards we hold ourselves to.

  • ·With certified balloon operators, for the passenger manifest the aviation authority requires.
  • ·With EUREKO Insurance, for the €40,000 per-passenger coverage included with every flight.
  • ·With Garanti BBVA, our PCI DSS compliant payment processor.
  • ·Never sold, never rented, never shared with marketers.

Your rights under GDPR

You are in control. At any time, you can:

  • ·Access the data we hold about you.
  • ·Correct or update any inaccurate detail.
  • ·Request deletion of your data, where retention is not legally required.
  • ·Object to processing or request portability of your records.

Send any of these requests to fly@hotaircappadociaballoon.com. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Booking and payment records are kept for 10 years, as required by Turkish tax law.

Marketing data is removed on request, usually within 7 business days.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Booking forms require an adult to consent on behalf of accompanying minors. Pilots and crew apply the same rule at the launch field.

Updates to this policy

We will email guests with active bookings if any material change is made to this policy.

Minor wording or contact-detail changes may be made without notice. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
